We were designed in 2006 as a way to support the education of students and residents in Emergency Medicine. We have since expanded to provide futher education opportunities to attendings as well.

Who Are We?

Brian Hartman, MD - Dr. Hartman is a currently a 3rd-year resident in Emergency Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. He is married to Cheryl who is a 4th-year dental student at Indiana University. He brings with him thirteen years of web development experience and has been a principal in several web-based businesses from a medical school blogging site to computer book sales. He has taken a job in Indianapolis, IN where he will begin in July.

Travis Taylor, DO - Dr. Taylor is one of our founders, currently practicing in Ohio.

Jeff Greenwood, MD, EMT-P - Dr. Greenwood is currently a 2nd year resident in Emergency Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and has 11 years experience as a firefighter/paramedic. Although not as active in structural firefighting since starting his residency, he remains heavily involved with the fire service with the medical direction of two departments outside of Dayton. His interests include EMS, mass-gathering, and disaster medicine. He plans on practicing in either the Dayton, Atlanta, or Charlotte areas after graduating.

JR Pickett, MD - Dr. Pickett has been with EMCram.com from nearly day one, and has helped it become what it is today.

David Coats, MD - Dr. Coats is an orthopedist who is assisting with image interpretation for orthopedic injuries.
