Case Presentations - Premium Service

The Case Presentation section is something we are very excited about. We have developed audio files that contain case presentations which highlight various topics in Emergency Medicine. Some learn better by listening, and we have developed a service for those individuals. The goal is to provide sixty minutes of material per month.

The audio files are stuctured the same each month. We begin with the triage note or EMS report for the patient and proceed with a combination of role-playing and standard narration to provide H&P, meds, allergies, and other pertinent information. We will then pause and discuss the differential diagnosis and determine which we will pursue. There will then be a discussion of lab and radiologic results and any interventions done, concluding with a disposition of the patient. The file will end with a general discussion of the topic and recent literature that may affect the management of the condition.

We charge a nominal fee of two dollars per month for the content. This allows us to justify our time spent and reimburse us for the money spent on technology. When you sign up, you will receive access to all prior audio files. We offer the audio in MP3 and WMA audio format.
